"The love of music comes from dedication, daily commitment and inspiration. This is making your passion a great work."
Alessandro Lora
Alessandro Lora was born in 1989 in Valdagno and at an early age discovered his passion for opera music and bel canto. He listened to the exceptional voices of Pavarotti, Domingo, Corelli, and Caruso, singing in double voices the arias that were closest to his heart. Soon everyone around him became aware of his singing talents and spurred him to begin a musical journey. Like many artists, Lora also began as a self-taught musician, and while he graduated from high school, in order to later take over the reins of the family business, he devoted several hours of the day to learning singing techniques. Her first mentor was Gianfranco Cecchele, one of Italy's greatest tenors and one of the leading interpreters of Verdi and Verismo repertoire, who for several years oversaw her singing training, encouraging and supporting Lora on her educational path.
After a few years he began a prestigious collaboration with the internationally renowned conductor Maestro Diego Basso who, with his many years of multidisciplinary experience ranging from pop to opera and rock, meeting Lora, created for him a series of artistic-singing projects with absolute emotional content and with Crossover style, as a new musical fusion, appealing to increasingly broader audiences.
And so it is that young Lora begins to perform at increasingly important events, bringing to the stage a mixed repertoire that has a great effect on the audience. In November 2022, in Budapest, he performs together with Maestro Diego Basso at the opening of the MTV Awards. He then shares the stage with Roby Facchinetti and Giò Di Tonno in a series of nine concerts. And it is in August 2023 that the American dream comes true and he makes his debut at Bryant Park in New York, in front of thousands of spectators, standing ovation, in the show "Alessandro Lora in Concert," accompanied by the New York City Opera, under the joint direction of his two Maestros, Diego Basso and Maurizio Barbacini. His great success opens the doors of the Ariston Theater in Sanremo where, on November 29, 2023, he becomes the protagonist, together with soprano Chiara Cremaschi and the Italian Rhythmic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Diego Basso, of a singing event that bears his name. It is on this occasion that Lora performs the famous song "Dolce sentire," which will be part of the soundtrack of the docufilm "Riz Ortolani Armonie e Dissonanze," directed by Marco Dentici and produced by N6 Production.
He will soon release his first album, recording classical arias and unpublished works.
Alessandro Lora is gifted with an authentically tenor voice, spontaneous and powerful and extended in a relevant way, up to full C4, with an extraordinary ability to hold the highest notes for interminable seconds. Lora has a natural gift, and his singing style is immediately recognizable in timbre and manner, making him uniquely his own.
"The naturalness of his splendid high register excites me so much that I predict an extraordinary future for him!"
